**The Great Wave** reinterprets Katsushika Hokusai's *The Great Wave off Kanagawa* entirely through vintage Japanese indigo-dyed boro fabric.

One of the most recognizable images in Japanese art.

The original artwork was created by individually cutting, layering, and assembling fragments of vintage indigo fabric by hand.
