文化服装学院を卒業後、アパレル業界で約10年にわたり経験を積んできました。商品企画、デザイナー、バイヤーなど多岐にわたる職種を経験する中で、トレンドの分析から素材選び、商品開発、マーケティングに至るまで、アパレル製品が生まれ、消費者に届くまでのすべてのプロセスを深く学びました。これらの経験は、創造性だけでなく実用性や市場の視点を持った作品作りにも大いに役立っています。

現在は、藍染の襤褸（ぼろ）生地を活用したアート作品の制作を中心に活動しています。日本の伝統工芸やリメイク文化に着目し、廃材や不要になった素材を再び価値あるものへと生まれ変わらせることに挑戦しています。作品は、インテリアや装飾品として日常生活に取り入れられるものから、現代アートとしての存在感を持つものまで幅広く展開しています。また、環境に配慮しながら「美しさ」と「サステナビリティ」を兼ね備えた作品を目指しています。

私の目指すものは、作品を通じて多くの人々のコミュニケーションのきっかけを生み出すことです。一つひとつの作品が見る人や手に取る人にとって特別な物語を感じさせ、そこから新しい対話やつながりが生まれるような存在でありたいと願っています。また、アートやクラフトの世界において、日本の伝統文化の魅力を世界中の人々に届けることで、文化的な橋渡しをする役割を果たしたいと考えています。

After graduating from Bunka Fashion College, I spent around 10 years gaining experience in the apparel industry. I worked in various roles, including product planning, designer, and buyer, where I learned the entire process of how fashion products are created and delivered to consumers. From analyzing trends and selecting materials to product development and marketing, I acquired both creative and practical skills, as well as a market-oriented perspective that deeply influences my work today.

Currently, I focus on creating art pieces using indigo-dyed boro fabric. Inspired by traditional Japanese crafts and the concept of upcycling, I breathe new life into discarded materials, transforming them into objects of value. My works range from interior decor items that can seamlessly blend into daily life to statement pieces with a strong presence in contemporary art. Through my creations, I strive to balance "beauty" with "sustainability," contributing to both aesthetic appreciation and environmental consciousness.

What I aim for is to make my works a spark for communication among people. I hope each piece of art tells a unique story to those who see or hold it, fostering dialogue and new connections. Additionally, I aspire to share the allure of Japan’s traditional culture with people around the world, bridging cultural gaps through the universal language of art and craftsmanship.
