**Ol’ Dirty Indigo** is inspired by Ol’ Dirty Bastard, one of the most unpredictable and unmistakable figures in hip-hop history.

Unfiltered.

His presence never fit neatly into convention.

That refusal to conform is reconstructed entirely through fragments of vintage Japanese indigo-dyed boro fabric.

The original artwork was created by individually cutting, layering, and assembling fragments of vintage indigo textiles by hand.

**No paint. No dye. Only fabric.**

Different shades of indigo, fading, scars, frayed edges, weaves, and imperfections become the colors themselves, creating expression, shadow, texture, and presence entirely through textile.

Uneven color.
Worn surfaces.
Marks created by time.

The imperfections of the material are not hidden.

Vintage Japanese fabric carrying decades of history meets the raw energy of 1990s hip-hop culture.
