Uroko Design – Indigo Ascend

本作は、日本の伝統文様「鱗文（うろこもん）」をモチーフに、藍染の古布を貼り合わせて構成した一点物のミニアートです。三角形が規則正しく連なる鱗文様は、厄を祓い、再生と成長を象徴する吉祥文として古くから用いられてきました。

藍染の端切れを一片ずつ手作業で貼り合わせることで、ペイントや印刷を用いず、布の質感と藍の濃淡のみで文様を描き出しています。濃い藍と淡い藍が交差することで、上昇するような動きを生み出し、生命の力強さと静かな律動を感じさせます。

本作にはNFT（非代替性トークン）が付帯しており、作品の真正性と所有権をブロックチェーン上で保証します。サインや紙の証明書に代わる新しい形式のデジタル証明として、作品の履歴を永続的に記録します。

Uroko Design – Indigo Ascend

This one-of-a-kind mini artwork reinterprets the traditional Japanese Uroko (scale) pattern using fragments of vintage indigo-dyed boro fabric. The triangular motif, symbolizing protection, rebirth, and growth, has long been regarded as a talismanic design in Japanese culture.

Each fragment of indigo fabric was hand-applied without the use of paint or print, relying solely on the texture and tonal depth of the material. The alternating layers of deep and light indigo create an upward rhythm, evoking a quiet yet powerful sense of vitality and renewal.

An NFT (non-fungible token) accompanies this work, providing verifiable digital authentication and ownership. Instead of a physical signature or paper certificate, the blockchain serves as a permanent record of the artist and provenance.
