Indigo Legacies: Flow of Grace は、「Indigo Legacies: Sustainable Artworks」シリーズの一作として制作された作品です。このシリーズは、文化的アイコンと持続可能性という二つのテーマを、藍染襤褸（ぼろ）布という素材を通して表現しています。

この作品は、日本の夏の風物詩ともいえる錦鯉をモチーフに、藍染襤褸（ぼろ）生地を用いて制作した一枚です。

錦鯉は、色鮮やかな模様と優雅な泳ぎで古くから人々に親しまれてきた存在です。特に日本では、庭園や池の中で静かに泳ぐその姿は「和」の美しさを象徴するものとして、鑑賞魚としてのみならず、長寿や富、繁栄の象徴としても大切にされてきました。

本作では、異なる藍染布の濃淡や質感を繊細に重ねることで、錦鯉の個性豊かな模様や質感を表現しました。また、水面に広がるさざ波や光の反射、鯉の泳ぎが生み出すわずかな動きまでも、布の織りや繊維の流れを活かして描き出しています。
