『Indigo Legacies』シリーズの一環として制作された本作は、日本の祭で神を運ぶ**神輿（みこし）**を、藍染の襤褸（ぼろ）生地の断片で再構築したオリジナルアートです。
江戸前神輿を参考に、頂点に輝く鳳凰、力強い巴紋、華やかな化粧綱、そして優美な蕨手（わらびて）などの意匠を取り入れ、細部まで丁寧に表現しました。

藍の濃淡によって光と影を描き出し、祭の躍動感と荘厳さを同時に表現。かつて日常で使われていた半纏や着物、帯などの断片は、時を経て「伝統」と「共同体の精神」を讃える象徴として新たな命を宿しています。

古材を再利用したチーク素材のフレームは、長い年月が刻んだ木目と藍染布の深みが響き合い、作品に温もりと重厚さを添えています。
また、本作には**NFT（非代替性トークン）**が付帯し、所有権と真正性が保証されます。

Part of the Indigo Legacies series, this original artwork reimagines the Mikoshi, the sacred portable shrine carried during Japanese festivals, reconstructed entirely from fragments of indigo-dyed boro fabric.
Inspired by the Edo-mae Mikoshi, it incorporates symbolic motifs such as the phoenix at the peak, the bold tomoe crest, decorative ropes, and elegant warabite ornamentation—each detail meticulously expressed through layered indigo textiles.

The nuanced gradations of indigo create a vivid interplay of light and shadow, capturing both the vibrant energy and solemn dignity of the festival. Once part of everyday garments—jackets, kimonos, and sashes—these fabrics now live on as a tribute to tradition and the communal spirit that the mikoshi represents.

The piece is complemented by a reclaimed teak frame, whose aged grain harmonizes beautifully with the depth of indigo, adding warmth and authenticity.
Accompanied by an NFT (non-fungible token) and digital certificate, the work’s authenticity and ownership are securely guaranteed.
