Sayagata Design – Indigo Continuum

本作は、日本の伝統文様「紗綾形（さやがた）」をモチーフに、藍染の古布を貼り合わせて構成した一点物のミニアートです。紗綾形は、途切れることのない連続模様として「永続」「繁栄」「絆」を象徴し、古くから吉祥文として広く愛されてきました。

藍染の端切れを一枚ずつ手作業で貼り合わせ、ペイントや印刷を使わずに布の濃淡と質感だけで文様を描き出しています。交差する線が織りなすリズムは、時間の流れや人のつながりを感じさせ、藍の深みとともに静かな力強さを放ちます。

本作にはNFT（非代替性トークン）が付帯しており、作品の真正性と所有権がブロックチェーン上で保証されます。紙の証明書やサインの代わりに、デジタル上で作家情報と履歴が永続的に記録される新しい形の証明です。

This one-of-a-kind mini artwork reinterprets the traditional Japanese Sayagata pattern, meticulously composed from fragments of vintage indigo-dyed boro fabric. The interlocking lines of the Sayagata motif, symbolizing continuity, prosperity, and connection, have long represented auspicious fortune and enduring harmony in Japanese design.

Each indigo fragment was applied by hand—without any paint or print—allowing the natural texture and tonal gradation of the cloth to define the form. The rhythmic flow of the pattern evokes the passage of time and the interwoven nature of human bonds, resonating with the quiet strength of indigo.
